Katherine Jenkins has rapidly become the darling of Wales. Born in Neath on the 29th of June 1980 this Welsh Mezzo-Soprano could only dream of the eventual stardom that would eventually befall her.

In 1993 Katherine became the BBC’s Welsh Choirgirl girl of the year and subsequently went on to study music at the Royal Academy of Music. At the age of 23 Katherine signed her first major recording deal, which incidentally was the largest recording deal in the UK for a classical music artist, and has never looked back.

A charming and beautiful woman with a demeanour that would suit Cinderella she has an instantly likeable personality and crowds readily warm to her innocent wit and playful personality.
